The Children’s Book Project (CBP) is a service activity initiated by local chapters of TRTA. The purpose is to put books into the hands of children who otherwise would not have books of their own. FARSP is proud to help and support area children to support literacy.
Beginning Teacher Scholarships provide funds to college seniors and first-year educators. The funds help reimburse an applicant for certifications and test results and to purchase materials for his or her classroom during the first year of teaching.
FARSP supports aspiring teachers by offering an annual scholarship to a graduating senior.
At Frisco Retired School Personnel, our members continue to make a positive impact long after their teaching days are over. We are dedicated to supporting our schools and enhancing the community through various volunteer activities and events. Whether it's mentoring students, participating in school programs, or lending a hand at local community events, our members are committed to giving back and making a difference. Join us in our mission to foster a strong, supportive community for all.
