Rogers Elementary—the oldest elementary school in Frisco—will be the recipient of our book project this year! Our goal is to
put a book inthe hands of every
student there—from kindergartners to fifth graders. So, if you have any books to donate for this age group, please bring to our meetings this Fall.
Beginning Teacher Scholarships provide funds to college seniors and first-year educators. The funds help reimburse an applicant for certifications and test results and to purchase materials for his or her classroom during the first year of teaching.
FARSP supports aspiring teachers by offering an annual scholarship to a graduating senior.
JAR stands for "Just Ask a Retiree". Teachers and other personnel in Frisco can reach out to our JAR Coordinator Theresa Hambrick when they need a volunteer. She will reach out to members to volunteer. If you'd like to volunteer when opportunities arise, make sure you fill out a volunteer background check yearly by visiting https://friscoisd.voly.org/ .
At Frisco Retired School Personnel, our members continue to make a positive impact long after their teaching days are over. We are dedicated to supporting our schools and enhancing the community through various volunteer activities and events. Whether it's mentoring students, participating in school programs, or lending a hand at local community events, our members are committed to giving back and making a difference. Join us in our mission to foster a strong, supportive community for all.
